Healing Balm

This versatile, medium-weight whipped herbal tallow balm offers deep nourishment and soothing relief for a variety of skin needs. Made with a blend of premium organic fats and oils, and infused with calming herbs, it delivers effective care that's gentle on even the most sensitive skin. We chose to use herbs as opposed to essential oils to truly harness the healing power of the plants as a whole! Making it safe for newborns, pregnancy and everyone in between!

 Multi-Purpose:

• Very soothing for irritation caused by eczema, psoriasis, chicken skin and even sunburn. Also offers anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties to promote healing and help to prevent infections
• Soothes dry, cracked skin, and minor cuts and scrapes
• Helps calm and protect chapped skin and dry cuticles
• Softens rough patches on elbows and heels
• Great for stretch marks and fine lines
• Can be used as a nighttime face moisturizer

Ingredients and benefits:

• Organic Grass-Fed Tallow: Rich in nutrients and similar to the skin's natural sebum, grass-fed tallow provides deep moisture without clogging pores.
• Organic Raw Shea Butter: Packed with vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter deeply nourishes and conditions, leaving skin feeling soft and supple.
• Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil: A natural source of antioxidants and vitamins, olive oil hydrates and protects the skin.
• Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil: Mimicking the skin's natural oils, jojoba oil balances sebum production for lightweight, non-greasy hydration.
• Organic Beeswax: Creates a protective barrier to lock in moisture and shield against irritants.
• Vitamin E Oil: A powerful antioxidant that fights free radical damage and promotes healing.

Calming Herbal Infusion:

• Organic Chamomile Flowers: Known for their antioxidants and calming properties; chamomile soothes irritation and reduces redness due to its anti-inflammatory benefits. 
• Organic Calendula Flowers: Known for speeding up wound healing, calendula helps reduce inflammation and promotes skin regeneration, along with being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. 
• Organic Marshmallow Root: Rich in mucilage, marshmallow root soothes redness and irritation and helps skin retain moisture

This gentle, medium-weight balm absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It's perfect for everyday use on your face, body, lips, and diaper area. Safe for newborns and pregnancy!

It pairs well with our Rejuvinate Face Toner (plant infused hydrosol) to maximize the absorption of the balm, but also to add a layer of hydration and additional healing benefits:

1. Cleanse and/or exfoliate your skin (exfoliation is an important step when suffering from dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, chicken skin or scaliness.)
2. Apply 3-5 sprays of our face toner (this is a multipurpose hydrosol)
3. Seal it all in by massaging in a small amount of tallow balm into damp skin. (massaging the tallow balm into damp skin will emulsify the hydrosol, sealing in the added moisture and healing properties, but also allow for a deeper penetration of the balm)

Made with all organic ingredients: Locally sourced Grass-Fed Tallow, Chamomile, Calendula, Marshmallow Root, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Beeswax, and Vitamin E.

Storage: Store the balm at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Excessive heat or cold may change the texture of the product. If melted, place in refrigerator until it returns to solid.

Shelf life: 12 months

Our balms are handmade in small batches without the use of chemicals, essential oils, preservatives, pthalates, or parabens.
